Barry Diamond Lead Pastor

Barry is a native Las Vegan - one of the remaining 10%! He has pastored for over 25 years and helped plant two Vineyard churches in Southern Nevada. Barry did his graduate work at Fuller Theological Seminary where he holds a Masters in Global Leadership. He is presently pursuing his Doctorate of Missiology at Fuller where he is also now part of the teaching faculty in the MAGL program.He and his wife Denise have three adult children, a terrific granddaughter named Madison and an awesome yellow Labrador named Samson. He loves the ocean and the beach, though not necessarily in that order and spending time anywhere with his wife.

Alex Miranda Children's Pastor

Alex and his wife Angela are both native Southern Californians who moved out to Las Vegas together as a married couple 11 years ago, discovered something unexpected in “Sin City”…a relationship with God. It was in fabulous Las Vegas that Alex also discovered his true calling as a Children’s Pastor. Alex and Angela have 3 sons, 9, 6 , 4 years old. Along with wrestling with his boys (and causing Angela to run for cover), Alex also enjoys reading, drawing, reciting quotes from the original Star Wars trilogy and watching his favorite teams - the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Dallas Cowboys.

David Vander Meer
Pastor of Jr. & Sr. High Student Ministries

Born and raised in Las Vegas, David Vander Meer is our staff member who refused to grow up. David is an avid photographer, who is passionate about life and absolutely loves hanging out with Jr. & Sr. High Students.  He is intrinsically drawn to mountain rivers and lakes, and passionately supports annual celebrations of beards, moustaches, and other beautiful forms of facial hair. In addition to working with youth, David also helps out as a member of our worship team.

Marc Floyd Media/Tech Operations

Marc is over all our media including sound and video. Marc and his wife Stephanie are native Las Vegan's and have been involved with Legacy since 2000. Some people accuse Marc of being stuck in the 80's because he still listens to Vanilla Ice and practices his dance moves.

Denise Diamond Coordinator/ Events

Apart from being married to Barry and still working part time as a trauma nurse, Denise is fully involved in the life of Legacy by helping coordinate various events and helping to influence the lives of young people. She loves to hang out with the youth, drives a cool looking Jeep and will do anything she thinks will be fun. She loves to ski and being in the mountains. If she hadn't married Barry, she said she would have been a Navy SEAL. Denise is one of the relational wheels that makes everything turn.

Tim Larson Financial Administrator

After careers as an Air Force pilot and a health care administrator, Tim and his wife Lori moved here from Virginia to retire. There, they helped start a Vineyard church where he was the treasurer for six years. He also directed short-term missions for the Christian Medical Association, leading medical teams to Africa, Central and South America and the Caribbean. Tim has an MA from Vanderbilt and an MBA from Pepperdine. Tim & Lori lead Legacy’s Divorce Care recovery group. They have four grown children and they homeschool their youngest son, Daniel, who is in the "Flipside" group.
